Hoof It & Be Herd is a unique and intimate experience designed for adults seeking personal growth through connection with horses and nature. This closed group runs over six weeks, with a maximum of four participants to ensure a safe and supportive environment. Each week, participants gather to walk alongside horses, engaging in activities and reflective conversations with both their peers and the animals.
The horses serve as a mirror to participants' emotions, helping them explore personal challenges, build confidence, and foster self-awareness. The combination of walking in nature, interacting with horses, and guided discussions creates a powerful setting for healing and self-discovery. Facilitators skilled in equine-assisted learning lead the group, guiding participants through each session with care and intention.
As the group progresses, participants develop stronger bonds, not only with each other but also with the horses, allowing for profound moments of growth and transformation. The programme emphasises emotional well-being, communication skills, and mindfulness, providing tools that participants can carry into their daily lives.
Due to the small size of the group, every participant has the chance to receive personalised attention, ensuring an individualised experience. The group fosters a sense of community, creating a safe space for exploration, learning, and connection.
By the end of the six weeks, participants will have gained valuable insights into themselves, improved their emotional resilience, and formed lasting connections with both other group members and the horses.
To participate, we ask that you are able to walk for around 45mins-1hour and up and down slight gradients with uneven surfaces as we will be walking with the horses around a range of routes as part of this programme. If you are unsure, please discuss with us prior to booking.
