Outside Learning

Outside Learning with Serendipity provides an inspirational and creative way for learners to achieve and develop confidence, awareness and self-esteem through hands-on experiential learning activities based in and around our natural environment. Outside Learning encourages learners towards original and inventive solutions and ideas, as well as practical skills for life. For today, tomorrow and forever.

Outside learning with Serendipity is available at our location for small groups of up to 10 people and for larger groups, we offer an Outreach Service to local schools and other organisations, where we bring our activities to you at your own site.

We have a range of activities for learners of all ages to engage with from scavenger hunts, bug hotel building, practical and thought-provoking games requiring innovative solutions and teamwork through to learning about our native flora and fauna, seed-sowing and food production & provenance.

We tailor our sessions to fit in with and support topics currently being studied or can offer stand-alone sessions to meet the interests of the groups or current affairs and seasons.
